Tokai Carbon Co. Ltd. succeeded to synthesize very small "Carbon Nano Spheres" which have a more narrow particle size distribution as compared to conventional carbon black, and, most of the structure is nearly single sphere. Many applications such as negative electrode materials in lithium-ion batteries are expected to be developed using the unique features of this material.
